anyone withinfo on the comparison of the glideshift version of kubota tracotrs please let me know the pros and cons of it against the dt which is a synchr tranny. most people have told me the gst is mot trouble free and easier on clutches with no power loss like the hst. any info certainly would be appreciated.

You heard right I have operated all three types of transmissions, The HST is a very good trans. but you must stop to downshift in heavy load situations. The GST you just pull it down no stopping. The HST I did not like AT ALL, it seemed very weak compared to the others, alot of blacksmoke with the loader. ....

Make that the DT you have to stop and clutch to downshift.... NOT THE HST>.SORRY... ....
